Communication Manager @ [e-spres-oh]

Position Type: Full-time

As a Communications Manager at [e-spres-oh], you will be responsible of conveying the internal and external messages for our company.
You will be in charge of systematic planning, implementing, monitoring, and revision of all the channels of communication within the company, and dissemination of new communication directives.

You will have to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of [e-spres-oh]’s communications strategy;
  • Develop and execute [e-spres-oh]’s media strategy across all media, including press, broadcast and publications, to raise the company profile and market its activities (including national or international programmes, recruitment and training courses);
  • Lead the copywriting and production of [e-spres-oh]’s key content and blog;
  • Research and write copy for articles and press;
  • Take responsibility for the development and management of [e-spres-oh]’s website, including keeping content up to date and appropriate, making improvements to functionality and advising colleagues on maximising its potential;
  • Implement and expand a social media strategy across multiple platforms;
  • Create and implement communications strategies for [e-spres-oh]’s own products;
  • Lead the development and monitoring of brand guidelines and key messages;
  • Create activity reports for the different activities and efforts;
  • Create strategies to increase employee awareness and to promote productivity;
  • Develop materials (printed and digital format) for [e-spres-oh]’s activities;
  • Set, monitor and forecast an accurate Communications Budget;
  • Organise [e-spres-oh]’s events/activities as necessary.

You are the right candidate, if you have:

  • Experience in PR, marketing, or communications, preferably within the tech community;
  • A degree major in communications, public relations, English, journalism or marketing;
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills, including the ability to present concepts verbally;
  • Excellent command of the English language;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
  • Leadership skills necessary for overseeing projects;
  • Research and proofreading skills, to ensure all materials are high-quality and accurate;
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media;
  • A positive and professional approach to management;
  • An obsession with quality, but also the capability to use nice words when others might feel inclined to use the f-word (we, of course, mean "focused").
